• Get director approval of your roping date(s). Contact a director for membership cards.
• Print copies of waivers, current rules, score sheets, and a payout schedule. You will need a score sheet for each team (open and novice), and you will need to have rule sheets posted at your roping.
• Ropers must be prepared to show a current membership card or proof of purchase.
• You will need numbers for the cattle.
• All roping payout schedules must be approved by the directors.
• You need to have at least 2 judges available.
• You need to have at least 2 people lined up to time, score keep, and announce.
• Chalk or lime to establish rodear line.

• After the roping you will need to send in:
• Membership purchase information and money.
• All score sheets.
• A complete breakdown of your final payout.

NOTE: The novice should run after the open, so the cattle are not fresh.
